to propose a grant-in-aid equal to the passage money of the

two Nurses.

5.It may be found necessary to engage two more Nurses under the Jubilee Nursing scheme when the Jubilee Nur- sing Institution is built in connection with the Jubilee Hos- pital now in course of erection, but for the present the Nurses to be obtained by the newly formed association would appear to be sufficient, and I have encouraged the engagement of the se Nurses for private nursing by a local association under a La- dies Committee rather than by the Government as being more satisfactory and less costly.

Humble Servant,

Henry ashake

GOVERNOR,&C.
